🏃🌲 The trails of the Pine Trail Run are making headlines!

Singletracks recently released a three-day mountain biking guide commissioned by the Town of Payson, and its second-day adventure takes readers through the 21-mile Pine-Strawberry Loop.

The article explores portions of the Highline Trail, newer sections of singletrack, Two Ravens, and the Arizona Trail while sharing the story of the volunteers who helped build and maintain this incredible local trail system.

Several of the trails featured in the article, including portions of the Highline and Pine Loop trails, are also part of the Pine Trail Run race route. That means runners have the opportunity to experience the same rocky terrain, forest views, challenging climbs, and beautiful Rim Country scenery receiving recognition in this national feature. 🏃‍♀️⛰️

Every trail run starts long before race day.

Before the miles, the views, and the finish line, there are volunteers clearing brush, moving rocks, breaking roots, and helping shape the trail one section at a time.

PINE Strawberry Fuel Reduction is calling on runners, hikers, and community members to join Trail Days and help build trails that support recreation, forest care, and fire safety for Pine and Strawberry.

Upcoming Trail Days:
Tuesday, June 23
Saturday, June 27
Tuesday, June 30

Trail Days happen every Tuesday, plus the last Saturday of each month.

To volunteer, email [email protected]. Directions and details will be sent by email.

Tools are provided. Bring water, sunscreen, gloves if you have them, and sturdy hiking or work shoes.

Don’t just run the trail when it’s ready help make it ready.

We're looking for volunteers for this year's Pine Trail Run. The race is less than a month away and we need your help to make this another great year.

Registration for this year's Pine Trail Run is now posted. It will be on May 2. A couple of changes this year. We will have parking at the red barn and all 3 race distances will be bussed to the starting line. We will also have timing this year year to have accurate finish times. The course for all 3 distances will be the same as last year.
