🕯️ Peace Light Candle Sales – Thank You, St. Rose Community
This December, Troop 432 was honored to participate in Peace Light candle sales after each service at Saint Rose of Philippine Duchense during the weekend of December 17–19.
The Peace Light is a cherished Scouting tradition—each year, a single flame is lit in Bethlehem, Israel, and carefully carried by Scouts around the world as a symbol of peace, hope, and unity. Our Scouts were proud to share that light with our parish community through these candles.🌌
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised over $400 in candle sales! These funds directly support Troop 432 activities and service projects while continuing the mission of spreading peace.
Thank you for supporting our Scouts and for helping keep this meaningful tradition alive. 🕊️✨

Join Troop 432 Sunday, November 7 at 12:15 pm as they honor veterans and retire worn out U.S. flags in the proper way, per U.S. Flag Code (Section 176), in a patriotic burning ceremony. All Scouts, veterans, and fellow Americans are invited to attend.

“A national flag that is worn beyond repair may be burned in a fire. The ceremony should be conducted with dignity and respect and the flag burned completely to ashes.”

Our Troop will provide refreshments and be on hand to answer any questions after the ceremony.
