TFA New Mexico Family, we have exciting news! The Foster Alliance has been selected as one of 20 nonprofits to participate in Paseo Pottery's first ever Public Pitch Slam! 🎉

At Pitch Night, local organizations will share their mission, impact, and vision with volunteers, members, and the Santa Fe community. Attendees will vote for the causes that inspire them most, and the top 12 nonprofits will become Paseo Pottery's Throw Down beneficiaries for the year.

That means we need YOU to join us at the event and VOTE for The Foster Alliance!

THANK YOU to each and every person that donated, started a fundraiser, forwarded an email, or told a friend about our Arizona Gives Day campaign this year. Because of you, we’ve raised enough to provide a brand new pair of shoes and socks for 1,296 children in foster care.

Better yet, thanks to the generous matching gifts from our friends at Soles4Souls, Cox Communications, and SJS Marketing, 887 of those pairs will be DOUBLED, meaning 2,183 children will have a new, comfortable pair of shoes, all because of you.

We’re still feeling the love; donations are continuing to come in, and we’re still counting shoes. Every gift is making a difference.

Arizona Gives Day is almost over, but it's not too late to give! 💙

Together, we have already made sure hundreds of children in foster care will receive a brand new pair of shoes and socks this year. Something that seems simple, but could make a world a difference for the children we serve.

For many children in foster care, they arrive with very little, sometimes not even a pair of shoes that fit. A new pair of shoes may seem small, but to a child in foster care, it could mean confidence, comfort, and belonging. 👟

Thanks to the generosity of Cox Communications and SJS Marketing, all gifts are currently being matched! The next $10,000, or 200 pairs will be matched 2:1.

That means:
👟 A gift of $57 could provide 3 children with their first new pair of shoes
👟 A single tax credit of $618 could provide 33 pairs for comfort and confidence
👟 A joint tax credit of $1,234 could support 66 children with shoes that fit

Tomorrow is Arizona Gives Day! 🎉

Last year, the Foster Alliance provided 3,277 pairs of shoes to children in foster care, but we served over 8,400 children. That means there were over 5,000 children who might have needed a pair of shoes, but didn’t get them because we simply did not have enough.

That is why we need your help tomorrow. Together, we are on a mission to raise $100,000 to be able to provide 1,754 more children with a brand new pair of shoes and socks! 👟
