Jiovan Garcia we honor you and are so grateful for all you’ve invested into Arizona Youth Alive. We’re better because of you and praying for God’s best as you lead Youth Alive in the Northwest!

Arizona Youth Alive impacts campuses around Arizona, whether they have an established Youth Alive movement or not. When students have difficulties starting a traditional Youth Alive club, they can still share Jesus through being a Campus Missionary, or even leading a huddle. Check out the testimony from Vaughn, a Campus Missionary at ALA West Foothills—
“I was really discouraged because no one really responded to the Gospel, but the Lord taught me… that it wasn’t about me. It wasn’t about the number. But it was about me being faithful…and obedient to what the Lord had for me.” - Vaughn

Last year, Vaughn had pushback when trying to start a Youth Alive club, but decided to try and share the Gospel anyways. After countless Gospel conversations, he didn’t see the fruit of those conversations— until this school year. Something shifted! Seeds that were planted last year began to grow. Through being a Campus Missionary and sharing Jesus, Vaughn has seen over 81 students accept Christ— a true miracle!

In the midst of the holiday season when many people focus on getting, it’s important to focus on giving. This Giving Tuesday, would you consider giving toward the vision of Youth Alive through an end of year gift or monthly partnership? Our missionary Megan is currently fundraising to reach full support as US Missionary. Every partnership gets us 1 step closer and every gift allows the amazing ministry of Youth Alive to continue.
Through the generosity of individuals, churches, families, and business, we can see more schools reached with the Gospel, more students sharing Jesus at school, and a kingdom impact across the state of Arizona. Let’s keep catalyzing a movement of students sharing Jesus at school!

Last month in our Youth Alive Pit Stop (a monthly call for student leader development), Megan discussed how we can face persecution and opposition as Campus Missionaries. The Bible says we are blessed WHEN others revile & persecute us. We are guaranteed we will be opposed when it comes to the Gospel, because even Jesus was. Yet, we are charged and commissioned to go and make disciples. So how do we respond? We keep going.

—> Dig Deep (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)
We might be hard pressed, perplexed, and persecuted, but we are not crushed, in despair, or abandoned. We’re not losing! Dig deep and press on despite the obstacles you encounter.

—> Stand Firm (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Don’t back down or compromise in sharing the truth. Stand on business for the sake of the Gospel.

—> Love Well (Matthew 5:44)
People will know us by our love. Perhaps our posture of love toward people, even our enemies, will be what softens their hearts and points them to Jesus.

—> Keep Running (Hebrews 12:1-3)
Keep your eyes on the mission— on Jesus, and keep running your race. Don’t let opposition stop you from spreading the Gospel.

In Acts 8:1-4, a great persecution broke out against the church and Christians were displaced & scattered to different areas— BUT, they preached the Word wherever they went. This is how the Gospel spreads. Sometimes, we have to be scattered in order for the mission to move forward.

Now is the time to stand for Jesus with boldness. Let’s commit to prayer & sharing Jesus like never before. The Gospel WILL advance in Jesus’ name.
Jesus, we need you, and we’re praying for an awakening- a move of your spirit across this nation, in our schools, in our homes, in our churches, in our people. Come Lord Jesus.

After a decade of prayer for the youth of the community, Youth Alive was restarted in Prescott and is raising up dozens of student leaders, reaching many more with the gospel.

YOUTH ALIVE HIGHLIGHT ⚡️
We are seeing something special take place in Chino Valley, on the high school campus and now one of the middle schools. The local churches are reaching these schools TOGETHER and students are finding Jesus. This is what it’s all about! We are so grateful for pastors and leaders like Pastor Chad, Ritchie & Craig for joining together and having a heart for every student and school! It was a blessing for one of our missionaries Megan to come on campus and see the ministry in action. Students, leaders, churches— together, we can truly reach every student and every school with the Gospel! Let’s see more of what’s happening in Chino Valley!

This Giving Tuesday, consider giving toward the vision of Arizona Youth Alive by supporting a Youth Alive missionary. What’s that vision? To evangelize every student and every school with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! In Arizona, we have 2 US Missionaries (Yoyo & Megan) and 3 Network Associates (Skylar, Nadia & MarLissa), all fundraising to keep doing the work of Arizona Youth Alive. Together, our team is catalyzing a movement of students sharing Jesus at school, empowering students, equipping youth pastors, and engaging the community to pray for our schools. Join us in prayer over every detail of Youth Alive One Day. Ultimately, God gets all the glory for the outcomes. We pray students are equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit, that students accept the mantle of missionary, that leaders feel a burden to take the campus together, that God would move in our schools, and that we'd see more campus missionaries and club leaders than ever before.
