It's been one week since our 17th Annual Strike Out Bowling Fundraiser, and we are still feeling the incredible generosity of our community!

Thanks to our amazing sponsors, bowlers, donors, and supporters, we've raised $164,000 to support the mission of HRS and the individuals we serve! ❤️

❤️ When Community Partners Step Up, It Makes All the Difference!

Sometimes, the most meaningful acts of generosity come when someone simply sees a need and says, “We’ve got this.”

That’s exactly what happened when Rouser Concrete learned about a concrete project we needed completed at HRS.

Without hesitation, owner Larry Lopez and his team stepped up, came out right away, and took care of the work — at absolutely no cost to HRS.

What a day!

We are incredibly grateful to every bowler, team captain, business, board member, sponsor, and supporter who came together for House of Refuge Sunnyslope.

You didn’t just come out to bowl — you showed up for the men, women, and children we serve every day.

Transformation Tuesday ✨

For much of Delina’s life, survival was all she knew.

Her story includes addiction, loss, incarceration, relapse, and years of instability. But it also includes something greater: healing, restoration, faith, and a new beginning.

Today, Delina has graduated from House of Refuge Sunnyslope and preparing to move into an apartment of her own. She has maintained employment, earned her driver’s license, purchased a car, rebuilt relationships, and continued growing in her relationship with Christ.

For someone else, those things may seem ordinary.

For Delina, they represent restoration.

She spent years surviving.

Today, she is thriving. ❤️
