đź’« This month we are excited to highlight Marilyn as our Member Spotlight!

At the heart of every well-organized kitchen—and indeed every organized home—stands a professional who not only understands the science of design, but also the art of bringing peace and function to daily life. Marilyn Effinger and her husband Mark, owners of Kitchen Masters LLC, offer cabinetry, countertops, closet systems, and expert organizing services to clients who seek more than just updated, neat spaces—they seek relief, function, and a sense of calm.

Marilyn’s approach to organizing is rooted in empathy and respect. She believes that disorganization brings chaos and stress. Creating order to suit each client’s lifestyle, results in relief and calm. “The look of relief on every client’s face says it all. It really matters. That is the why,” Marilyn shares. Her favorite space to tackle is the kitchen, a place she describes as “the heart of the home” where families gather, share meals, and make lifelong memories.

One of Marilyn’s guiding philosophies is to support rather than judge. She emphasizes that inviting a professional organizer into one’s home is an act of vulnerability. “My role is not to criticize or force decisions—it’s to support,” she explains. Marilyn’s process is about clarifying goals, reducing overwhelm, and building customized systems that work for each unique client.

Marilyn’s dedication to her craft, her clients, and the professional organizing community continues to set her apart. Her practical approach, respect for each individual’s needs, and passion for well-designed spaces reflect the high standards of Kitchen Masters LLC.

If you’re seeking expertise and personalized solutions for your home, Marilyn welcomes the opportunity to help bring your vision to life.

✨ Register today for our virtual and in-person Neighborhood Meet Up!

We’re so excited to launch a new, relaxed way to gather, learn, and grow together.

Neighborhood Meetups are casual, in-person gatherings hosted in members’ homes or at local cafés and restaurants—designed for real conversation around business strategy, idea-sharing, and building stronger connections within our community.

Think meaningful dialogue. Practical insights. Genuine connection.

Our first Meetup will be hosted by the ever-gracious Bridges, who is welcoming us back into her home (yes… her famous lasagna is making a return 🍝).

Each Meetup this year will feature one of our highly experienced members as host, sharing best practices, answering your questions, and offering practical tips to support your business growth. It’s an opportunity to learn directly from seasoned professionals in a relaxed, supportive setting.

Not local? We’ve got you covered.
A virtual option will be available so members statewide can join in and be part of the conversation.

Neighborhood Meetups are free for members. When we gather at a café or restaurant, you’ll simply cover your own food or beverages.

We’re excited to try this format—already successful in other chapters—and we truly value your feedback as we build this together.

A Message from NAPO-AZ President: Hadiyah:

I’m pleased to announce that the nominations for our 2026-2027 officers are underway! Thank you to everyone who has already stepped up to be considered for a leadership role in our community.

We are still looking for candidates for Director of Membership as well as several other board and volunteer positions. If you’re curious about these roles or interested in getting involved, you can read more about the opportunities and position descriptions here or email me at [email protected].

In addition to our leadership transitions, this month we are trialing a new Chapter meeting format to strengthen our connections: Neighborhood Meetups. These member-hosted gatherings—available both in-person and online—are designed for deeper conversations, practical sharing, and building real support among professional organizers. Come for expert tips from seasoned members, stay to swap resources, ask simple questions, and connect with others who truly understand the unique experiences of our field.Be sure to register and reserve your spot for the March Neighborhood Meet Up.

Warm regards,
Hadiyah
NAPO-AZ Chapter President
