Human beings as a whole have a power to change other human being life. Now, how can that happen? This can happen through the helping hand of others. We need and must help each another. Please wherever you may be, go out your way and help someone TODAY.
The only way the poverty can fully be abolished, is when we as humans started caring for other humans. Therefore we must not leave anyone behind.
I cry everyday in my heart and no one can hear my cries but just (Allah) God can hear them. I have turned to the right and left looking for help and comfort for someone to help me just to have something to eat for a day but no one shows up, and I went to bed hungry.
I have been struggling throughout my life. I have just one parent. My mother is mother and my father at the same time. We were always poor and didn't really have enough of food or money for a day to day basic. Seeing all that my mother and I went through when I was growing through poverty, I decided to take stand against poverty. At the time, I started working when I was just eleven years old just to help my mother put food on the table. I had no choice but to work and help my mother and myself survive everyday.
Raining season was one of the season that I didn't like when I was growing through poverty, I have to work as a child, and when it rained, I get cold and become sick. Already been poor was a trouble for my mother and I. Whenever it rained and I get sick, I hid my sickness just so mother wouldn't feel sad for me. Head on to work sick and hungry. My only target at work was for the day go quickly so that I can return home give my mother the money which I have gained from weeding other people grass.
And those people I was working for didn't really care about me. But what they cares about was the job been done. And sometimes they get even mad at me and started yelling and say all kinds of things to me while they know very well that I'm just a child trying to survive like everyone.
At eleven years old age, I didn't give up, I stand up tall against poverty. I did everything that I can for my family and I to earn people respect. The thing hurt me most at age eleven was being yelled at and hearing all kinds of bad words from people who just think that you are there for them to look down on you.
As a child growing up in poverty, it didn't stop me from helping others, I've went way beyond helped and at eleven I give what I earn to the homeless on the street corners and when I got home and explain to my mother, this makes her so proud of me. It make me happy when she happy.
From what have been through in life, I believe the only that the only thing that make poverty go away, is when we start helping each another. So please whatever you do today, Please go way behind your expectations and reach out to other. There are people that are crying every day even though you don't hear them but they are crying with a very loud voices in their heart every day. When you reach out to them, they will know from time to time that there is someone out there that is hearing their cries. This is the only way this thing (Poverty) can be put to shame everyday. Me and you must help someone today. Let's stand up against poverty. Stand up against poverty along together with (NO MORE POVERTY: BUT PROSPERITY ONLY).
