Kicking off Medical Assistants Recognition Week, AACHC hosted the 25th Annual Invaluable MA, DA, CHW Seminar! It was a great day of learning, connection, and celebrating the frontline healthcare professionals who make a difference in our communities every day.

AHCCCS changes are coming to Arizona starting January 1, 2027.

If you are an adult aged 19 to 64, you may need to meet new work requirements and renew every six months. Most AHCCCS members will not be affected, and some members are exempt from the new changes.

The 2026 Cover Arizona Assister Training was a success!

This week, the Alliance hosted an in-person and virtual training, joined by more than 100 enrollment assistors who are helping Arizonans connect to health coverage and resources. With changes ahead, the conference focused on strategies to help individuals and families across the state stay connected to coverage and community resources.

To help prepare enrollment assistors in Arizona, Dana Naimark from Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), joined AACHC's Claudia Maldonado, Director of Outreach and Enrollment Services to share updates on H.R. 1 implementation, beginning January 1, 2027.

Thank you to our Community Health Center members and community partners who joined us. Together, we will continue learning and building connections to better support individuals and families across Arizona.
