Beauty for ashes. Joy for mourning. Praise for heaviness!

What a powerful time in the presence of God at City Church! Pastor Dara Jones reminded us through Isaiah 61:3–4 that God is in the business of divine exchanges!

What once was broken can be restored. What once brought pain can become purpose. What once held us captive no longer has power over us!

City Church had powerful time of worship and the Word!

Last evening was a beautiful and sacred time of intimacy, vulnerability, and surrender in God's presence.

Each woman courageously laid down her "God, I am tired of carrying…” and, in its place, embraced Strength, Restoration, Hope, Rebirth, Joy, Kindness, Courage, Trust, Peace, and Rest.

There was something deeply powerful about witnessing women release the burdens they were never meant to carry, praying for one another and make room for the promises God has already spoken over their lives.

It was a beautiful reminder that surrender is not a sign of weakness, but an act of faith! When we place our burdens in God's hands, we create space to receive all that He says we are and everything He has promised us through His Word.

We came carrying burdens, but we left embracing His promises.
