• Speaking up for one another

Our 5th Annual Paint in the Park is almost here!

The LGBTQ Employee Alliance is proud to partner once again with Paint Phoenix Purple for this special event recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Join us Thursday, October 15, as we come together through art, conversation and community to raise awareness about domestic violence and show support for survivors.

Instead of:

Try:
✅ "Tell me about your partner."

❤️Today is National Gay Men's HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.
This observance encourages education, prevention, testing, treatment, and open conversations while honoring the lives and resilience of those affected by HIV.
Although tremendous progress has been made in HIV care, stigma can still prevent people from seeking information, testing, or treatment.
By replacing fear with facts and judgment with compassion, we can help build healthier and more supportive communities for everyone.
Together, we can continue moving toward a future where knowledge, empathy, and access to care help everyone thrive.

Today we recognize and celebrate the vibrant, diverse, and resilient bisexual+ community.
Bisexual people have always been part of LGBTQ+ history, leadership, advocacy, science, the arts, education, public service, and everyday life. Today is an opportunity to honor those contributions while also recognizing that visibility matters.
When people feel safe to be their authentic selves, our communities become stronger, more welcoming, and more compassionate.

💗 MYTH: Bisexuality is "just a phase."
FACT: Bisexuality is a valid sexual orientation.
People who identify as bisexual are capable of being attracted to more than one gender, but that doesn't make their identity any less real or any less meaningful.
Like everyone else, bisexual people define their own identities and deserve to have those identities respected.
Visibility begins with believing people when they tell us who they are.
