What a great start to the AMCA Supervisor Development Series! 👏🏽

Today’s first session, presented in partnership with DPR Construction, brought together a GREAT group of people ready to grow, learn, and strengthen their leadership skills.

From meaningful conversations and valuable leadership training to some delicious tacos 🌮, it was a fantastic way to kick off the series!

Andrew spent nearly 30 years as a commissioned military officer, commanding teams and complex missions under pressure, before bringing that same discipline to project delivery in power generation, transmission and distribution, and large-scale industrial operations. Bennu Systems is an AI advisory firm based in Scottsdale, founded by Merl Martin. We help small and mid-sized companies put AI to work on the tedious, repetitive parts of running a business, in plain English and without the hype. For one construction client, that meant taking a monthly billing cycle from two full weeks of manual work down to a single day. Merl is a former physics teacher who retrained as a software craftsman through a formal apprenticeship, and he runs Bennu as a solo Latino founder wearing every hat. He serves on the Arizona Technology Council's Emerging Leaders Council for 2026-2027 and won the SRP and ASU Small Business Academy Venture Challenge in February 2026. The mission hasn't changed since the classroom: take something complicated and make it genuinely usable.
