Where Hope Lives

Where Hope Lives Follow our NEW account Our unique dream rooms provide these resilient young women with a safe and beautiful environment to begin to heal.

Where Hope Lives is a comprehensive in-house program that provides victims of human trafficking and those in crisis pregnancy with access to everything from food and clothing, to medical and behavioral health care including individual and group counseling, as well as educational, vocational, and legal services. The purpose of Where Hope Lives is to rescue trafficking victims and offer them hope an

d a way off of the streets. Upon entering the program, victims rest, shower, and eat while our dedicated staff begin to address their medical, physical, and emotional needs. Once a point of stabilization has been reached, the young women enter into the four pillar program of Where Hope Lives. The program model utilizes an independently tailored four phase system allowing residents time to rebuild their foundation by practicing a regular routine, obtaining personal identity documents, creating long-term and short-term goals. and making decisions about their next steps. Each pillar is strategically themed for an aspect of healing that leads them towards a fully restored life in the community. Each phase is also timed according to the speed at which each young woman learns and progresses. During the final phase, the program charts a course of graduating and exiting the program while moving towards re-entry back into a healthy role in the community. We recognize that rescuing and helping to rebuild the lives of girls and young women alone will not in itself turn the tide on human trafficking. That is why Where Hope Lives is also driving a three-tiered approach to prevent the epidemic of human trafficking through awareness, advocacy, and training.

As many of you know, we are one program operating on multiple campuses to fight Human Trafficking. Our Children’s Recovery Program (Natalie’s House), Teen Girls Recovery Program (StreetLightUSA), and Young Adult Recovery Program (Phoenix Dream Center) all play a part in us bringing hope to those who are healing from Human Trafficking. As of today, you can find all of our updates and resources on our Where Hope Lives page (formerly our StreetLightUSA account). Make sure you follow along with us as we continue to make an impact with your help! Thank you for your support!

THANK YOU to all of our amazing partners and donors who showed up ready to give this past weekend! Because of your generosity we were able to raise over $500,000 for survivors of human trafficking. We cannot wait to see how God uses this next year to grow our programs even more to reach those impacted by trafficking.

You may have heard in the news lately that a list of names associated with Jeffrey Epstein’s human trafficking affairs was released to the public. What you may not have know is that Where Hope Lives (the home of StreetLightUSA and Phoenix Dream Center’s human trafficking recovery programs) has actually provided healing care for some of these victims. Survivor Success Story👏🤍

Carly, initially non-verbal due to trauma, found healing through an unconventional route – gardening.

After four months of team patience and creativity, her newfound passion cracked her walls, unveiling dreams and aspirations. The breakthrough came when her leaders, thinking outside the box, discovered gardening as a hobby that became the key to unlocking Carly's expression and trust.

Post-graduation, Carly seamlessly transitioned to our Alumni program, achieving remarkable milestones in her first month, getting her first job! Now, she's saving for independence and actively supporting others in the Alumni program through gardening. We are so proud of Carly!

At any given time, there are 27 million people in modern-day slavery. While men and boys are trafficked, it has been found that for every ten victims, five are women and two are girls.

With your help, we have been able to rescue over 6,000 girls since 2008. But the fight doesn't stop there. At Where Hope Lives, we believe that to end human trafficking, everyone must do their part.
