The Hindu YUVA student Club at Mountain Ridge High School, Glendale, AZ hosted a creative and eco‑friendly “Make My Ganesha” activity where teenagers crafted beautiful Ganesha idols using biodegradable materials.
This hands‑on experience encouraged imagination, artistic expression, and environmental awareness — all while celebrating a cherished cultural tradition.
Hindu YUVA clubs in high schools continue to provide a welcoming space for students to connect with their heritage, values, and community.

Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA (HSS), Arizona was honored to represent the Hindu community at the annual Breakfast* hosted by the City of Surprise Government.

During the program, HSS shared a timeless message rooted in Hindu Dharmic wisdom:

HSS reflected on how the simple greeting Namaste embodies the Golden Rule — honoring the divine within every individual and recognizing our shared humanity.

A heartwarming run up to Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations by Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA in North Phoenix, AZ *! Families came together for our *Make My Ganesha* workshop during the HSS’s program, where children crafted eco‑friendly Ganesha idols with imagination and devotion.
This hands‑on tradition connects us deeply to our cultural heritage and reminds us of Lord Ganesha’s blessings of wisdom and the removal of obstacles.

The local Hindu Community alongside the volunteers of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA , North Phoenix,Arizona visited the office of Mayor Kevin Sartor of the City of Surprise. On this occasion, the community members joined the Mayor’s office in celebrating Universal Oneness Day, reaffirming the shared commitment to community harmony and collective well‑being.
Mayor Sartor’s office has been actively engaged in initiatives supporting veterans, senior citizens, health camps, and broader community welfare. During the meeting, several avenues for collaboration were discussed, including programs focused on veterans, youth engagement, and community development.
Guided by the timeless ideal of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — “The World Is One Family” — HSS Arizona chapters continue to foster unity through cultural programs, interfaith harmony events, and service activities. These celebrations reflect the growing contributions of Hindu Americans to civic life and emphasize that unity, compassion, and shared responsibility are essential pillars of a harmonious society.

Rakshabandhan – A Bond of Protection, A Celebration of Oneness
Rakshabandhan, the festival that celebrates the bond of protection, was celebrated by the Hindu community in the United States as Universal Oneness Day—a day to express gratitude to those who protect, serve, and strengthen our communities.
Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA (HSS) in AZ was honored to join members of the Hindu community in Chandler in celebrating this spirit of oneness with Mayor Kevin Hartke and his office.
Universal Oneness Day is an opportunity to recognize community leaders, volunteers, police officers, firefighters, first responders, elected officials, and all those who go the extra mile to serve their neighbors and make our communities safer, stronger, and better places to live.
We are especially grateful to Mayor Hartke for his leadership and for being a friend of the Hindu community. His willingness to engage with the community, not only as Mayor but also through his personal interest and involvement, is deeply appreciated.
It was with a sense of gratitude and friendship that we celebrated Rakshabandhan with the Mayor and his office. We thank them for graciously accepting our invitation and for joining us in recognizing the bonds that bring us together.
Those who met with Mayor Hartke represented the wider Hindu community of Chandler and its shared values of service, gratitude, respect, and oneness.We thank Sewa International USA - Phoenix,Maha Ganapati Temple of Arizona,Sai Dhyan mandir , Aum School for their continuous support in building a stronger community.

On this Rakshabandhan, we celebrate not only the bonds within our families, but the bonds that connect us all as one community.

Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA (HSS) recently conducted a Hindu Heritage Camp in Phoenix, Arizona. The camp was attended by more than 60 participants, including over 35 people who were attending an HSS program for the very first time. The event was made possible through the dedicated efforts and enthusiastic support of HSS volunteers from North Phoenix.
Hindu Heritage Camps are short, family-oriented programs organized by HSS to introduce the community to the values and activities of a Sangh Shakha and Balagokulam. The camp offers engaging and meaningful sessions for every member of the family, making it an enriching experience for both children and adults.
These camps are open to everyone in the community and provide an opportunity to experience Hindu values, culture, traditions, and community spirit in a welcoming environment.

Celebrations with The and the National Anthem in our Chapters , meetings and Training camps, by participating in celebrations within cities via marching bands, with our fellow Americans.

’26 in Arizona.

The Hindu Community in Arizona with the volunteers of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA and celebrated - Teacher veneration during the celebration of Teachers Appreciation week.

Guruvandana , an event to celebrate our teachers , appreciating them for their service to build a better America and Americans , honouring them for their dedication and service to our American societies.

With over 400 attendees , 4 events celebrating 79 Teachers and Professors , Guruvandana in AZ was a celebration in 4 different events. The Hindu YUVA at ASU , Hindu Students Club in ASU celebrated it with the Professors of ASU in attendance whilst the Guest of Honour was Prof.Sethuraman Panchanathan (Dr.Panch),Professor and foundation chair in the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence At Ira A.Fulton School of Engineering at ASU . The Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA Chapters in Peoria , Phoenix& Scottsdale and the East Valley celebrated Gurus and Teachers of their neighbourhood. Volunteers put on skits , dance , vocal and instrumental performances , enthralled the community.

The event in East valley was graced by Mayor Kevin Hartke , Hon.Mayor of City Government of Chandler, Arizona. He was the Guest of Honour and addressed the gathering at the event.

Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh in Arizona wishes to thank each and every teacher who attended the event , our Guests of Honour and the community in attendance and everyone of our karyakartas Adult and Child that were a part of this celebration.
