It has been a minute since we last made a post! At this year's Canal Convergence in Scottsdale, we will host a lantern making workshop, "The Light Within," inspired by the beautiful Philippine parol-making tradition from Pampanga (see the photos below for examples of what true handmade Capiz shell parols look like!). Come see us on the evenings of Sunday November 10 and 17 to make simple LED-powered lanterns from reeds and mulberry paper.

It has been while since out last post. With our families growing and little ones in the house, we are now turning our focus to two areas: 1) designing creative musical experiences and instruments for kids in early childhood, and 2) volunteering at Arizonans for Children to provide musical and interactive art workshops for young people and families in foster care. If you are interested in learning more or would like to contribute in some way, please get in touch with ([email protected]).
Thanks for continuing to follow us, and we will start to post more about our work here and on our website (undergoing improvement).
