Dear Rabbis and community members,

We regret to inform you that as of May 26, 2017, Tomchei Shabbos of Phoenix will dissolve.

We are gratified that Hashem gave us the opportunity to provide food for needy families over the last ten years.

We sincerely hope that in the near future, others in the community will step up to provide this service, until Moshiach comes – may it be speedily in our days.

We want to thank all of those who supported our efforts, either financially or by helping us with shopping and/or distribution of food.

Tzvia Halilyan, President

Bayla Neuwirth, Vice President

“...All those who occupy themselves faithfully with communal affairs – may the Holy One, blessed be He, give them their reward, remove from them all sickness, pardon all their sins, and send blessings to all their endeavors, together with all Israel their brethren, and let us say Amen.”

Dear Friends,
Tomchei Shabbos is currently assisting 26 families who are in need of food for every Shabbos and Yom Tov. As you probably know, kosher food is much more expensive than regular food. We must purchase produce and other essentials every week, and our financial resources are rapidly dwindling. In addition, we just purchased a large supply of chicken from the kosher co-op and that expense has depleted our funds.
Without your help, we will not be able to provide for the needs of our community.
Please take this opportunity to support Tomchei Shabbos. You can give or send donations to Tzvia Halilyan at 1636 E. Sierra Vista, Phoenix, AZ 85014 or to Bayla Neuwirth at 6615 North 13th Street, Phoenix 85014. If it is more convenient, you can give cash or a check to any of the kosher stores for the benefit of Tomchei Shabbos and they will notify us.
Tomchei Shabbos is a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization. Our Tax ID Number is 27-3099147.
If you have any questions, please call Tzvia at 602 618-0615 or Bayla at 602 677-0235.
Thank you for your help and support. We would appreciate it if you would tell your friends about our important work and that we need all the financial help we can get! Tizku L'Mitzvos!
