Junior League of Phoenix

Junior League of Phoenix Junior League of Phoenix, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism Training is both formal and experiential.

Times have changed and so have the demographics of membership, but the women of Junior League of Phoenix still embrace the same values as that group of women in 1935. Today, we have a significant presence in the local community, focusing efforts around our platform of “Empowering Women and Girls.” Junior League of Phoenix, along with a coalition of community partners, is working towards helping set women and girls up for success by giving them educational support, assisting them in accessing services, and providing financial training that will improve their marketability and confidence and help decrease gender disparities. JLP members continually identify current community needs, create innovative solutions through their programs and train members to effectively implement these goals providing lasting community impact. The training that the women of Junior League of Phoenix receive sets this organization apart from other nonprofit organizations. As trained volunteers, members have a broad impact throughout the community as nonprofit leaders both within and outside of Junior League. Lifelong friendships are built among today's members of Junior League, as they fulfill their common mission - promoting voluntarism, developing women and improving the community.

Brunch is better with League friends. 💕

JLP Sustainers gathered Saturday for the Annual Sustainer Brunch—a morning to reconnect with longtime friends, welcome new Sustainers, and catch up on what’s ahead for the 2026–27 League year.

Sustainers also supported JLP’s community efforts by bringing Halloween candy and decorations for an upcoming Trunk or Treat with A New Leaf Support Services.

We love seeing the friendships, service, and connection built through Junior League of Phoenix continue through every season of League life. ✨

🚀 JLP members were proud to support ROCKETS Teacher Launch at the Arizona Science Center Educate to Innovate Conference!

Educate to Innovate brings together Arizona educators for a full day of STEM-focused professional development, with opportunities to discover new resources, connect with fellow educators and explore strategies they can bring back to their classrooms.

JLP volunteers helped make the experience possible by preparing materials and the event space, welcoming and guiding attendees, and supporting the conference throughout the day.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support Arizona educators and the students they inspire every day. ❤️🚀

Thank you to our ROCKETS volunteers and Arizona Science Center for a great Teacher Launch!

Period products are a basic need—but for women experiencing homelessness or financial hardship, they aren’t always an accessible one.

Women4WomenTempe is changing that by providing feminine hygiene products free of charge, with no qualifying, registering, or questions asked. Each month, the organization distributes approximately 3,500 bags of pads and tampons through more than 40 community sites.

For Find the Good Week, Junior League of Phoenix members are supporting this work with a Period Packing Party, turning donated products into kits ready for distribution. Members are also collecting tampons, pads, liners, and sanitary wipes to support the effort.

It’s a simple but meaningful way to help ensure women in our community have access to essential products with dignity.

Learn more, donate products or funds, and support Women4WomenTempe at women4womentempe.org.

Safety can be the first step toward rebuilding a life.

Since 1977, Sojourner Center has supported Arizona survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. Through emergency shelter, transitional housing, community outreach, and other services, the organization helps more than 2,000 survivors each year find safety, healing, and greater stability.

During Find the Good Week, Junior League of Phoenix members are supporting that mission through hands-on volunteer projects in Sojourner Center’s Donation Resource Center and kitchen, along with campus beautification efforts. It’s one way our members can help strengthen the environment and resources that make Sojourner Center’s work possible every day.

Want to support this important work in our community? Learn more about Sojourner Center and opportunities to donate, give needed items, or get involved at sojournercenter.org.
