Junior League of Phoenix

Junior League of Phoenix, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism Training is both formal and experiential.

Times have changed and so have the demographics of membership, but the women of Junior League of Phoenix still embrace the same values as that group of women in 1935. Today, we have a significant presence in the local community, focusing efforts around our platform of “Empowering Women and Girls.” Junior League of Phoenix, along with a coalition of community partners, is working towards helping se

t women and girls up for success by giving them educational support, assisting them in accessing services, and providing financial training that will improve their marketability and confidence and help decrease gender disparities. JLP members continually identify current community needs, create innovative solutions through their programs and train members to effectively implement these goals providing lasting community impact. The training that the women of Junior League of Phoenix receive sets this organization apart from other nonprofit organizations. As trained volunteers, members have a broad impact throughout the community as nonprofit leaders both within and outside of Junior League. Lifelong friendships are built among today's members of Junior League, as they fulfill their common mission - promoting voluntarism, developing women and improving the community.

Join us on July 1 at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in Old Town Scottsdale for a sweet summer treat, great company, and an easy way to support the Junior League of Phoenix.

Bring your family, friends, coworkers, neighbors—or anyone who never needs an excuse for ice cream. During the event, 25% of all in-store sales between 4:00–7:00 PM will be donated back to JLP.

No flyer. No code. No special mention required.

Just stop by, enjoy a scoop (or two), and help support the League.

The next chapter of JLP begins today.

As we kick off the 2026–2027 League year, we’re excited to introduce the Board of Directors and Management Team who will help guide the organization in the year ahead.

Building on the work of those who came before them, this team brings a wealth of experience, perspective, and enthusiasm to their roles. Together, they’ll help support the programs, relationships, and opportunities that make the Junior League of Phoenix such a special community.

Our Sustainers gathered for an afternoon of friendship, laughter, and delicious bites as they celebrated another incredible League year and looked ahead to the summer season.

Honored to share that the Junior League of Phoenix received two awards at the Association of Junior Leagues International Annual Conference:

• Circle of Distinction Award for Excellence Across League Operations
• Honorable Mention for Fund Development

Out of 300+ Junior Leagues across the Association, only four Leagues received the Circle of Distinction recognition this year.

These recognitions reflect an incredible year of impact across our organization. From the success of our 89th Annual Rummage Sale and fundraising growth efforts to community impact, membership experience, leadership development, governance, training, communications, and operations, this achievement represents every area of the League coming together.

Most importantly, this recognition belongs to the people behind the work. Our members, supporters, committee Chairs, Board of Directors, Management Team, sponsors, donors, and community partners all played a role in making this possible.

We are incredibly proud of what the Junior League of Phoenix continues to accomplish together.

Community is at the heart of the Junior League of Phoenix. 🩷

At our 2026 Annual Celebration, we came together to reflect on a year of service, welcome our newest Active members, recognize milestone anniversaries and award recipients, and honor the leaders who have guided our organization while welcoming those who will carry the work forward.

Beyond the awards and accomplishments, the evening highlighted the friendships, encouragement, and shared purpose that connect us, along with the family and friends who support our members every step of the way.

Thank you to every member who gave her time, talents, and heart this year. Your impact can be seen not only in the work we do, but in the community we’ve built together.

Here’s to all we accomplished this year and to the exciting work still to come.

A sweet morning of service at 🍪

Last week, JLP sustainers gathered to bake homemade treats and prepare snack packs for children and families supported by Ryan House, a nonprofit that provides care, comfort, and respite for families navigating complex medical journeys.

As a founding partner of Ryan House, the Junior League of Phoenix is proud to continue supporting its mission through volunteer service and community partnership.

Good conversations, great wine, and lots of new faces.

We had such a fun evening at last month’s Recruitment Social at getting to meet prospective members, answer questions, and share a little bit about what JLP is all about in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us. We loved seeing so many conversations happening around the room and hope to see some familiar faces again soon. 🤍
