Sisterhood of Superwomen

Sisterhood of Superwomen Women in the Phoenix metro area who meet monthly to inspire, motivate & embrace each other while pay

11/22/2022

Hello Super Women!
I know, this is sooo long overdue. I hope you are all doing well, as we haven't seen each other since January 2020.
Because of the pandemic, I of course, put our gatherings on hold.
But during and since the pandemic, I - like a lot of you, I'm sure - have made some changes in my life. Some of those changes have been big, small, personal and otherwise - but all made with a deep inward perspective about life and how I want to approach each day.
In January 2020 we celebrated a decade of Sisterhood of Super Women and I'm so proud of what we've accomplished together: friendships, philanthropy, and the ability to experience community with like-minded women.
While I never expected our January 2020 luncheon to be our last, I think 10 years is a good time to step back, take a breather and focus on supporting some of the other fabulous women's groups that have successfully established themselves in our community.
Thank you to everyone for supporting the Sisterhood of Super Woman through the years. We helped nearly 100 charities and nonprofits in Arizona and helped support positive change.
We did that! Together.
I love you all and I hope that we can stay in touch either in person at various events in the Valley or via social media.
Happy Thanksgiving!
With much love and gratitude,
❤️ Catherine

Hello Super Women! I hope you are staying safe and well.
This is a challenging time.
Some of us are feeling lost, scared and worried.
So how do we stay focused and positive in times of uncertainty?
I talk with Speaker, Author, Coach, and Vision Leader Carey Conley (and fellow Super Woman) about her upcoming 1-day virtual summit: Keep Looking Up! Visioning Your Future In Uncertain Times to learn how having a clear vision helps us weather the storms of life.

Happy 10 years Sisterhood of Superwomen!
Thank you to everyone who made it out for the luncheon Sunday and who donated to the raffle. We had a lovely afternoon supporting Ballet Arizona at their beautiful studios and getting a behind-the-scenes tour of just what it takes to put a production together.
Look for a post soon about a group trip to a performance. Next luncheon is in March - see you then!

Thank you Andrea Tyler Evans and Frontdoors Media for featuring the Sisterhood of Superwomen in your feature of Valley women who are keeping the art of giving back a constant!
This means so much to me, especially as we approach our 10-year anniversary next month! 💕
I had been doing a lot of motivational speaking at the time about the challenges of balancing career and family and my passion for giving back.
A number of women would reach out to me after these events or privately via email to express how gratifying it was to hear from someone experiencing their same internal struggles and philanthropic desires and realize they are not alone in these feelings.
That’s when my internal light bulb went off and my heart called me to start a group that would include women from all walks of life to come together once a month for lunch at a local restaurant. We feature a different charity at each gathering – usually the smaller ones who are looking for a bigger platform – that can speak to our group about their mission and impact. It provides our women with an opportunity to learn about the extraordinary work happening in our community on a daily basis that can sometimes fall under the radar.
We follow up those presentations with monetary or in-kind donations (depending on what the organization prefers) and volunteerism.
I’m proud to say that in that time, we have supported more than 75 different charities and have inspired deep connections, collaborations and friendships along the way.
Thank you to the hundreds of women who have made the Sisterhood of Super Women one of the most gratifying things I’ve ever done 💛
We now meet bi-monthly with the possibility of moving to once a quarter in 2020.
Please check us out at on Twitter and Facebook. If you’d like to join our group’s email list, please contact [email protected]
