1.HOW DO WE PRACTICE SELF-CARE?
SELF-CARE, we’ve all heard that term, but HOW DO WE ACTUALLY TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES? Self-care is more than bubble baths and candles—it’s about nurturing your mind, body, and soul. Here are some ideas to inspire your journey:
• Set the tone for your day, just 5 minutes of mindeful breathing a day can really make a difference
• Drinking water is an act of love for your body, keep a bottle nearby and sip throughout the day.
• Find what feels good— a walk in nature, or even a dance session at home, movement heals.
• Read something uplifting or listen to a podcast that inspires growth and healing.
• Call a friend, join a support group, or simply share a smile, CONNECTION IS POWRFUL.
• Prioritize sleep, your mind and body need it to restore and heal.
SELF-CARE ISNT’ SELFISH - IT’S ESSENTIAL. Let’s build these small habits together, one day at a time.
2. WHAT DOES SELF-CARE LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
Self-care is deeply personal. For some, it’s quiet moments with a good book; for others, it’s a long run or a creative project. There’s no one-size-fits-all. Here are a few ways self-care might look:
• Saying “no” when you need rest and “yes” when it aligns with your values.
• Doing something that makes your heart feel light—like painting, gardening, or watching your favorite show.
• Spending time in nature, meditating, or simply unplugging from social media for a while.
• Journaling through emotions, seeking therapy, or sharing your story in a safe space.
Self-care is YOURS to define. It’s whatever helps you reconnect with yourself and feel whole. So tell us, WHAT DOES SELF-CARE LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
