🌵 South Phoenix Deserves More — And Together, We Can Build It 🌵
South Phoenix is a community full of culture, strength and resilience, but for too long, families have been forced to overcome barriers they DIDN'T CREATE. Basic healthcare being miles away, leaving MOTHERS, FATHERS and CHILDREN without timely or adequate medical support. Schools are overcrowded, closing and underfunded stretching teachers thin and limiting the opportunities our youth deserve. And despite the talent within this community, economic opportunities are extremely insufficient, with many residents facing hurdles to stable employment and livable wages. These conditions aren't a reflection of the people who live in South Phoenix, they're the result of systemic underinvestment that has left the community underserved for generations. LMA is stepping into that GAP with purpose. Providing education, resources, and support that strengthen families. But transformation doesn't happen alone.

This is South Phoenix; where mothers and infants face one of the highest mortality rates in the nation. Each item in the dust represents a story cut short, a heartbeat silenced to soon. In the “richest country,” no mother should have to bury her child because care was out of reach, and no family should endure the heartbreak of losing an expectant mother.
