Today we celebrate an incredible milestone: 5 years of sobriety!

Five years ago, Melanie made the courageous decision to pursue a different path. Through challenges, setbacks, victories, and growth, God's grace has sustained her every step of the way.

Her journey is a reminder that transformation is not found in perfection, but in trusting the Lord and faithfully taking one step at a time.

Today, we praise God for His faithfulness and for the work He continues to do in Melanie's life. Five years of sobriety is a testimony to His grace, mercy, and sustaining power.

At The Bridge to Hope, we believe lasting transformation is possible through Christ, community, and consistent support. Melanie's journey is a powerful reminder of that truth.

"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." — Philippians 1:6

Join us in celebrating this milestone and praying for God's continued strength, healing, and hope in the years ahead.

Eighteen years ago today, Jennifer graduated from The Bridge to Hope.

She entered our program on February 22, 2006 with her three-month-old twin daughters and everything they owned in two garbage bags. When her church team arrived to pick her up, they told her:

“We are here to take you home.”

Jennifer once shared that she hadn’t had a place to call home in 12 years.

On May 12, 2008, she graduated from The Bridge to Hope. But that wasn’t the end of her story—it was the beginning of restoration. Today, Jennifer is over 21 years sober, serving others in recovery, and the little girls she carried into the program as babies are now young women with dreams, purpose, and faith.

From hopelessness to wholeness.
From surviving to thriving.
From two garbage bags to a legacy of God's redemption.

God is faithful.

The love of Jesus is present

A testimony from a momma whos graduated rhis program in 2006: A lot has changed since getting to share in this video…BUT the LORD has Not! I re-watched this video and came to tears. Full of gratitude for what the Lord has done for so many single mommas through The Bridge to hope and through First Southern my sponsoring church and other chuch families that sponsor the moms who choose this ministry. I am so thankful to every single person that God put in my life specifically...for a specific reason ALL for His Glory! I’ve reflected a lot on what God has done to resurrect what was dead in me. I had no idea how sick i was until i had to relearn the basics of life all over again. Then again through a divorce. Then when becoming an empty ester. Then in my momma passing. These testimonies show the Power of the resurrection of Jesus, in our lives. He brings alive what was once dead in us, IF we let him! Praise the Lord for loving me in-spite of me. Thank you first southern for your love and support for so many years and thank you The Bridge to hope for believing in me. I am grateful to my mentors for loving me through the hard seasons for 23 plus years! O praise the One who paid my debt and raised this life up from the dead!!! Sing with me! Let’s fill the heavens with our praises for He alone is good and He alone is worthy of our praise
