WHAT WE DO:
• Monitor trails, habitat, wilderness areas, and other special places and rehabilitate when possible;
• Record damage, both manmade and natural, and report to the appropriate authorities;
• Clean up heavily-used recreation areas;
• Close illegal roads/trails and re-vegetate with appropriate plants and trees;
• Assist agencies with special projects related to land use, species protecti

on, or volunteer projects that exceed the agency’s capacity;
• Educate local communities about the importance of the public land around them and encourage them to get involved;
• Provide trainings and workshops on related topics and issues; and,
• Enjoy being outdoors, surrounded by so much peace and beauty, with fellow nature enthusiasts.
