Arizona Advocates for Ex-Offenders Together the number of years the two of them have accumulated on the streets since leaving from behind prison walls almost exceeds 100 years.

AAFEO is a Phoenix based 501c 3 nonprofit agency whose mission is to reduce the recidivism in adults and youth through active engagement
and community embeddedness. In March of 2016 two ex-offenders came together in Laveen, AZ in a living room to discuss forming a Nonprofit Corporation that would assist other ex-offenders in transitioning back into the mainstream of society. Within the next 2 wee

ks they were joined by three additional ex-offenders and two other interested parties; an ASU Master’s Degree Student/Professor and a Mental Health Worker. This group of seven now have a small office in Phoenix and registered as a Nonprofit Corporation. With five ex-offenders, whose years on the street is close to 125 years of freedom, now help ex-offenders, probationers and parolees reintegrate back into society. The Maricopa County Justice Courts are having a Warrant Quashing Event, our first ever Saturday court program.

Our goal is to serve the public who may not be able to get time off work during the week. They will be able to come in, quash their warrant, and resolve their cases to get back on the right side of the law.
