🧠✨ Calling all currently practicing PAs! ✨🧠
Two PA-S students are conducting a research survey to evaluate PAs’ knowledge on identifying malnutrition in obese patients. 🩺: https://tinyurl.com/mvezxyrx
Your input will help us assess PAs’ general knowledge of using the following to identify malnutrition:
✅ Evidence-based tools
✅ Physical exam findings
✅ Diagnostic tools
Our goal? To present this research at the Fall ASAPA Conference 2025 and the AAPA Conference in May 2026, and ultimately create targeted educational opportunities for PAs! 📚🎓

Pitt PA faculty are serving and supporting the PA profession! In conjunction with their service to their state professional societies, Dr. Rosa Fannie, Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants and Dr. Carlos Gutierrez , Arizona State Association of Physician Assistants attended the American Academy of Physician Associates Leadership and Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC. They met with congressional leaders from their states advocating for bills that further PA practice while collaborating with PAs from across the country.
