Ricardo Rauseo Landa, national press secretary for Somos Votantes, said Latino voters are “extremely motivated” to go vote.

Rauseo said Somos Votantes has implemented tabling at its events to help voters check their registration and develop a plan to vote. After raids in Minnesota and California, Somos Votantes implemented know-your-rights trainings.

Get-out-the-vote groups want to assuage Latino voters’ fears of federal agents at polling stations.

As Michigan families continue to feel the weight of rising utility costs, Somos Votantes Education Fund today launched a new wave of debt relief, eliminating up to $1,000 in overdue utility bills for at least 240 hardworking families in southwest Michigan. This effort is delivered in partnership with El Concilio Kzoo, a trusted community organization already serving Michigan families.

When we lift the weight of debt off a family's shoulders, we give them room to build the life they’re working so hard for. This wave meets people where the economic pain actually is, and we’re proud to partner with El Concilio to clear that burden for hardworking families across the state.

Arizonans work hard and give so much to our economy and communities. With rising prices across the board, every dollar saved on supplies helps working families stay ahead and invest in things like housing and health care.
