Free train rides this Sunday at Maricopa Live Steamers in Glendale. We are located 22822 N 43RD Ave right across from the waterpark. We are open from 11am - 2pm with the last train leaving at 2. Rides are free but donations are appreciated to keep the railroad running. Children must be able to walk to and board the train without assistance. All Aboard! 🚂

S Gauge update at the MRB. Water and base paths put in, sound board repaired and a few tunes were substituted. Still ahead, second floodlight tower LED update finished and will be installed along with "dirtifying" the tree line next to the Erector bridge to hide the purple foam base. We will wake up the building with the new baseball sound mod.

It took a minute to work through these 5! SITs got pistons for bellows, repaired some shipping damage and all the other bits and pieces needing attention but this fleet is ready to return to Greg. A couple notes of interest ..the #308 was only made for one year. The #322 is a type 1 from '46 and the #312 is a type 2 from '46. The last engine I completed just this a.m. was the #312. And it will pull a 10 car train at 8 volts with the SIT running! Kudos to you AC Gilbert for making an incredible product!
