Our mission is to empower and engage the Arizona AANHPI community, encouraging civic engagement and educate the community on relevant public policies, to facilitate the creation of an equitable society and inclusive democracy. Engaging AANHPI voters in Arizona is crucial to voting progressive in the 2020 election and beyond. As a growing demographic, continued outreach is key to ensuring they have a voice in shaping the trajectory of our state’s politics.

If approved, your electric bills are about to get a LOT more expensive. Even if you don’t have APS — because other utility companies like SRP will follow suit.

Outraged by this corporate greed? We are too. That’s why we’re holding a rally at the ACC to oppose APS’ rate hike. Use your voice and join us in the fight!

Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) passed last year, with the largest-ever cuts to healthcare and food programs to fund tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy and corporations. This bill also targeted our clean energy systems to prop up the fossil fuel industry and will raise our utility bills.

It’s no coincidence that on May 18th, APS is considering a 14% hike on its utility rates at the Arizona Corporation Commission. The Trump Administration will make it harder for us to access affordable, clean energy to lower our bills, and will create a less environmentally-friendly Arizona.

Join AZ AANHPI Advocates and Chispa AZ on May 2 to learn how to share and prepare testimony about rising utility bills.

Then, join us on May 18 at the Arizona Corporation Commission, as we take action to stop the APS rate hike!

Democrats started the 2026 legislative session with a unifying message of ‘An Arizona We Can Afford.’ But, with a Republican majority in both the House and Senate, most Democrat-sponsored bills were not considered.

The fight continues for worker heat safety 🔥

This week, our Heat Standards Coalition met with Governor Hobbs to voice the concerns of workers across Arizona demanding rights to water, shade, and rest. The Industrial Commission of Arizona (ICA) also heard several powerful testimonies advocating for enforceable heat standards.

While the ICA moved to strengthen guidelines and existing programs for heat protections, they stopped short of rule making. ❌ Instead, there will be an 8-month period to determine whether these guidelines actually protect Arizona workers. The ICA shared that this is a first step forward, but not the end step.

Several states already have policies in place to protect their workers, which is why we won’t stop fighting. Keep speaking up for enforceable heat standards — your voice matters now more than ever! 🗣️

STOP H.R. 7296! 🗣️ The Save America Act will be heard in the Senate next week. This bill would require voters to provide proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote and government-issued photo ID to vote in federal elections.

Millions of women and people of color could lose access to the ballot due to voter purges, documentation barriers, error-prone data systems, or name changes during marriage and divorce that doesn't have a matching paper trail.

Voting is a constitutional right! This bill does not protect democracy. It restricts it.

Now is the time to take action! 📲 Call our Arizona senators to vote no on the Save America Act!
