✨ The Terrasen Litter ✨

Straight from a fantasy novel and into rescue 🖤

These four tiny kittens were found outside alone with no mother in sight… yet they immediately ran toward people for comfort, love, and safety.

They are so affectionate and trusting that we cannot help but wonder if someone left them behind. It is difficult to understand how kittens this gentle ended up alone outside.

Despite that beginning, they are impossibly sweet, curious, playful, and already completely in love with people.

Named after some of our favorite Throne of Glass characters, because these little ones deserved names worthy of survivors.

✨Meet the Casa Litter
Mama Paloma wasn’t supposed to raise this many babies… but she did 🤍

From a South Scottsdale colony, she came to us with her family
her daughter Marisol, and her boys:
Santiago, Domingo, Rodrigo, and Emilio

And then there was little baby Diego—
a tiny singleton found alone in an air duct.

He wasn’t hers…
But she made space anyway.

Now they are safe, together, and finally able to just be a family 🫶🏽

Rescue looks like this:
More food. More medical care. More space.
More saying “yes” when it would be easier not to.

Did you know TNR is helping community cats all the way from Arizona to Kyoto, Japan? 🌎🐱

One of our FTLC board members met this beautiful community cat, Sakura, in Kyoto. She was relaxing in the sun in front of official TNR signs that explain she’s been trap–neuter–returned, cared for by neighbors, and should be fed responsibly and cleanly. ☀️🌸

Seeing Sakura and her friends looked after this way is such a sweet reminder that compassionate people around the world are working toward the same goal: reducing cat overpopulation humanely and helping outdoor kitties live safer, healthier lives.

TNR isn’t just a nice idea—it’s an internationally recognized, evidence-based solution to community cat overpopulation. When cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and returned to their outdoor homes with caretakers, entire neighborhoods benefit.

From Kyoto to Maricopa County, we’re proud to be part of this global movement through For the Love of Cats. 🐾

Three adorable kittens, each with a spirit as unique as the elements themselves 🌊🔥🌪️

🐾 Suki – The fearless leader! Agile, lively, and full of energy. Suki loves attention, belly rubs, and playtime. She’ll thrive in a home that matches her adventurous heart. 🌟

🐾 Roku – The gentle one. Playful yet calm, with an “old soul” personality that makes her extra special. Roku would be the perfect snuggle buddy for someone wanting a mellow, affectionate kitten. 🪽

🐾 Mai – The graceful thinker. She loves quiet naps, cozy corners, and calm companionship. Once she trusts you, her playful side shines through. 🫶🏼

All three have been cared for with love through FTLC’s foster program and are now ready for forever homes! 💕

🎆 Fireworks may be fun for us—but they’re terrifying for pets.

Every year, shelters see a spike in lost animals around the 4th of July due to panic and noise-related escapes.

Protect your pets this holiday with these essential safety tips:

🏠 Keep pets indoors – Secure all pets inside before fireworks begin.

🎶 Play calming sounds – Music, white noise, or TV can help drown out scary booms.

🆔 Check tags & microchip info – Make sure your contact details are up to date.

🛏️ Create a cozy space – A quiet room or crate can offer comfort. Talk to your vet about calming options if needed.

🚫 Skip the fireworks – Never bring pets to shows or loud gatherings.

👉 Even indoor-outdoor cats can panic and bolt through open doors or windows. Prepare ahead to avoid heartbreak later.

✨ Meet Mark, Ms. Casey, Helly, Kier, & Mr. Milchick — five adorable kittens who were recently rescued from a colony where we’re actively doing TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return).

These little ones were found together outside, covered in fleas, and in desperate need of care. Thanks to our amazing fosters, they’ve been cleaned up, vetted, and are now safe, warm, and full of purrs 🐾💕

These cuties will be looking for loving forever homes soon! In the meantime, we could really use your help. Meet Allen, a gray-and-white bundle of love rescued from a colony in Phoenix! 🐾 This sweet boy is the definition of a “lap cat” who thrives on snuggles, constant purrs, and being close to his humans. When he’s not cuddling, Allen loves to play and show off his kitten energy with toys and zoomies. 💙

Say hello to sweet Celeste, another gorgeous rescue kitty with For the Love of Cats! 🤍 This fluffy grey-and-white beauty was found at a TNR cat colony, and we believe she was abandoned there—her sweet, snuggly nature makes it clear she’s meant to be someone’s cherished companion.

Celeste is the ultimate cuddle bug who loves attention and never says no to a good petting session. She’ll happily follow you around for snuggles and make you feel like the most loved human in the world. 🌟

We are so happy to share that sweet Celeste has already found her forever home. But, we couldn’t do the lifesaving work we do without your continued support. ✨Meet Clementine Mae

Our newest rescue kitty at For the Love of Cats! 💛🍊 Only a year old, this sweet and spunky gal was found at a TNR cat colony in Phoenix. Sadly, we suspect she was abandoned by her previous owners, as she is incredibly friendly and social.

Clementine loves snuggling up for bird TV, playing with wand and spring toys, and curling up in a cozy blanket. She’s smart, vocal, and very food-driven (tuna treats are her fav!). She is currently living with one of our amazing fosters, waiting to find her forever home😸🩷
