Our this week is on Carlos Goveo, Director of Operations for Trident Security Services, Inc.

Carlos is board certified in security management by the ASIS International as a Certified Protection Professional, (CPP), a member of the Association for Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP), and Certified Threat Manager. Additional certifications include Project Management (PMP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He has a MBA from Central Michigan University University as well as a FEMA Level I Professional Continuity Practitioner. Carlos is also an active member of the ASIS Executive Protection Council.
​As a retired Army Officer, he served for 21 years working at various levels while leading complex multi-national efforts. Carlos worked at several US embassies around the world with duties comprising of auditing, safety, physical security, personal security, and anti-terrorism.
Carlos transitioned into the security industry and has a plethora of experience gained from corporate security positions in Fortune 500 companies, a director level position in a premier public figure protection firm, and regional security management level position in a top data center company.
