We miss you 🖤
The story behind Tonys Hope.
Antonio “Tony” was my son. He lost his battle with mental illness July 15,2019. After grieving I decided that I didn’t want another family to have to go through the same thing.
Antonio was born 11/03/96 my son was born with Nuchal cord. This is the term used by medical professionals when your baby has their umbilical cord wrapped around their neck. He had lack of oxygen to the brain he had medical issues since birth. It wasn’t until suffering a tragedy himself later on in life that he was diagnosed bipolar schizophrenia.
This is why Tonys Hope focuses on helping the less fortunate. Tony would spend weeks out among the homeless. At the time he would give his last dollar to help any soul who needed it. He would go help and spread the word of God when he was healthy and when he would lose himself. Tony continued to spiral out of control and on July 15, 2019 my son self medicated and it took his life. It was the worst pain any mother could go through. I don’t wish this pain on any mother. That is when I decided to continue his work. We at Tony’s Hope are determined to help the homeless community and bring a end to the stigma of mental illness. We ask that you please contribute. We will do the foot work. This is our Passion! It comes easy to me to minister to them. I find myself speaking to them as if they are my Tony. The things that were left unsaid the things I wish I would of said. I want to help as my Tony did and continue his legacy.
Thank you in advance for your help & God bless you.
To my Tony I hope I make you proud continuing what you loved to do.
