We are a movement created by like-minded members of our community, our attempts is to alleviate food access issues caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Thank you so much Fry's Food Stores Kroger for donating $10,000 to Urban Farming Education and The Fresh Food Collaboration Movement! By sponsoring our mid April food distribution, you made it possible for us to fill 800 food boxes, which went to over 350 families in need in the Laveen, AZ area. Your generosity is deeply appreciated by us and the community members who received this food!

Monday’s volunteer celebration was a huge success! Thank you to all who came out. We saw so many of our beloved volunteers as well as so many teammates from the Laveen Community Action Committee and for musical entertainment! We all feasted on a delicious dinner made by .catering and

Tonight, we're looking forward to recognizing a year's worth of dedication and commitment by countless Fresh Food Collaboration volunteers. Their contributions, time, and effort have been instrumental in aiding communities during the brunt of the pandemic. 💪

Calling all Collaboration Members and Volunteers,

Please join us for one last fun-filled weekend of volunteer joy. This Friday/Saturday is our last scheduled Laveen Food Distribution Event. If you have been considering checking us out, THIS is your chance.

We are so proud of the positive impact we have been able to make as a team. After this Food Event, we will go back to the drawing board to come up with new ideas on how this Collaboration can best serve the community.

Chef Jennifer with Witnessing Nature In Food specializes in All-Organic Catering. She has been an essential member of the Fresh Food Collaboration Movement, participating in both our food box distribution program as well as being one of our Go-To partners for distributing pre-prepared meals. We are so grateful to have a soul like Chef Jennifer working on our team during these challenging times.

Between her company, Chefs Lori + Scott Harlig at Amici Catering , and Chef Danielle Leoni at The Breadfruit & Rum Bar , the Fresh Food Collaboration Movement has delivered over 16,000 pre-prepared meals directly to those in need.

Funding for these meals has come from donations as well as the Feed Phoenix Grant program from City of Phoenix. Local First Arizona has coordinated the allocation of these grant funds to Urban Farming Education and other partners.

So far, meals have gone to first responders, food pantries, homeless shelters, veterans shelters, domestic violence shelters, shelters for persons with physical disabilities, and more.
