Developers... Ohh the atrocities.
1. Design. Bad. Foreign Australian shoestring acacia.. pretty large tree. Certainly would of damaged the walls, sidewalk, and the power lines if it survived.
2. Planting. Bad. Buried too deep. Collar rot. Some girdled roots. Bad staking too. 3 years later 2/3rds of the trees dead and gone... These are still staked. Lol. Obviously won't hold up the tree anyway.
3. Watered. wrong. Like a hydroponic daily. 10 min daily. Roots have not grown at all. Being buried too deep also stunted the roots.
4. Pruning.. wrong. They didn't fix any problems like codominant trunks or included bark splits. They did trim the bottom a few times... So the top is heavier.
How do you do everything wrong? Is there a checklist and didn't read the "don't do" part? Lol
