Hey there! Do you have a minute? I was wondering.....
You see, I spent a lot of time here this weekend watching people walk by my kennel. They would smile at me and sometimes talk to me, but then they would walk away.
Is there something wrong with me? I know I can be picky about who I like, but if I like you, I will be the BEST friend to you and show you what a good boy I can be.
Anyway- the shelter opens tomorrow at 11:30. I hope to meet you soon....whoever you are.

Somebody to Love?

Have you ever been misunderstood? I know I have. Every day people walk by my kennel, and I get rather excited. Sometimes it makes me look like I’m not a very good boy. What they don’t see is how smart I am. They don’t see how much I love riding in cars (that means I’m going on an adventure!) They don’t see how much I love being cuddled.

No, I don’t love everyone. Do you?? I’m a little uncomfortable around children, only because they seem to play by different rules sometimes. I also can be a little picky about my furry friends. In a perfect world, it is just Me and You. I am super loyal and will be the BEST friend you ever had! You can teach me some new tricks ( I already can sit and shake), take me out hiking and for long walks, or just drive me around in the car. There is so much world out there that I want to see. I just want to see it with someone special.

When you walk by my kennel, please don’t judge me if I seem a little unruly. I get a little impatient to find my home sometimes. Please give me a chance. I promise to be your best friend!
