The Greater Phoenix Chamber mourns the passing of Dr. Lattie F. Coor, whose visionary leadership as the 15th President of Arizona State University helped shape Arizona's future through a steadfast commitment to higher education, innovation, and community partnership. During his tenure from 1990 to 2002, Dr. Coor laid the foundation for ASU's transformation into a leading research institution, strengthening the connection between education, business, and economic development across our state.
The Greater Phoenix Chamber was honored to work alongside Dr. Coor throughout his presidency, united by a shared belief that strong partnerships between the business community and higher education are essential to Arizona's continued prosperity.
