Our trifold mission: First, To integrate the many different types of medical and therapeutic care that foster and kinship children are in need of. To ease the medical burdens on foster and kinship children and their caregivers. To give the children a safe medical place where they are wanted, known, and loved. Second, To bridge the gap between the regular community and foster and kinship families b

y creating small and large events that inspire the uniting of both communities. Third, To create a greater sense of community between foster/kinship families and the general public, awareness of how the general public can make a difference one person at a time for one kid at a time, and a greater sense of camaraderie and connection amongst those businesses and organizations that already serve this population.

Another Shrinky D***s Event is Happening SOON!

DATE: SATURDAY, February 7th, 2026
TIME: 1:30pm-3:30pm
LOCATION: Mesa, AZ

Let's do it again! One by One Foster & Kinship Solutions' Kinship Youth Leadership Council is presenting a second chance for a fun youth event. Participants get to design Shrinky D***s by designing on shrink plastic using templates and ideas. They then get to watch the magic as the shrink plastic shrinks to less that a quarter of it's original size and thicken into a hard plastic card. They can choose to add a keyring. After their card is cooled down, they get to pair it with a selection of positive thoughts cards and place in a nice envelope to give to someone who needs the message. They also get to make one for themselves to keep.

Spaces are limited, so please verify the date and location work for you before registering.

Group Homes are welcome to register if they are certain they can attend. Please plan to have an adult stay.

Every year, One by One Foster & Kinship Solutions has the incredible privilege of serving our local foster families with our annual Thanksgiving Boxes.
We know that the holidays can be a busy time, and our goal is to take one worry off the plate for these amazing families who open their hearts and homes.

From the turkey and stuffing to the pumpkin pie and whipped cream, each box is packed with love (and all the fixings!) to ensure a warm, delicious holiday meal.

Thank you to everyone who helps make this tradition possible year after year. We are so grateful to walk alongside our foster and kinship community!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we invite you to participate in making our foster families' holiday more enjoyable. A donation box is available in Scottsdale for your convenience. Our desired donations include:
Turkey Gravy can or jar
Stuffing Mix
Cranberry Sauce
Potato 5lb bag
French Cut Green Beans can
$25 donation grocery store cards to purchase turkeys.
We welcome contributions of any size.

We have a new date for our FREE Shrinky D***s Event!

Our Kinship Youth Leadership Council has worked hard to bring this event to foster & kinship families.

Event is for ages 8-17 who are either in a foster/kinship/adoptive/tribal/guardianship placement AND any "siblings" in their home.

Group homes are welcome to register as long as they are certain they can attend.

This is an amazing FREE event that our Youth Council volunteered with last year. They are volunteering again this year. Please register your family asap. It's in Glendale, but worth the drive if you can make it. They will be an amazing keynote speaker, interactive workshops and activities, vendor tables, bounce houses, and a bubble station. Lunch is provided.

One by One Foster & Kinship Solutions is collecting TAX-DEDUCTIBLE monetary donations to provide our amazing Baking Boxes to as many families as possible. All donations are tax-deductible and you will receive an email receipt automatically for your records.

Amazon, Kroger, and Walmart gift cards are also welcome to help with the program. If you prefer to purchase items directly, PM me for what we still need and how you can get it to us.

The Landmark Forum is what allowed me to heal enough to let the inspiration in that lead to forming One by One Foster & Kinship Solutions.

I hope one day we can form a foundation to cover the cost for Foster Parents and their teenagers. In the meantime, if you are a foster parent and are able to work out the funds, this 3 day weekend (and an evening) will make such a transformative difference in who you are as a person and free you up to be a more connected, loving, patient, and "whole" parent and human being.
