Please microchip your pets, even if you don't think they're going anywhere! Evee is 15 years old and spends most of her day napping, but that didn't stop her from going on a little adventure around the neighborhood. Luckily, Evee was microchipped. Her owner - who has had her since she was a puppy - was able to pick her up right away.

If your dog needs a microchip, we offer chipping services for $25. Come in between 12 pm - 6 pm at our East or West shelters for assistance. More info at Maricopa.gov/Pets.

🚨 LOST DOG – PHOENIX (19th Ave & Broadway area)
This sweet pup, who we’ve been helping feed, has gone missing from his owner’s home. He is not microchipped and was not wearing a collar at the time he went missing.

He was last seen near 19th Ave and Broadway in Phoenix.

We have been incredibly fortunate to receive generous monetary and food donations for our food bank this holiday season. Thanks to this support, we’ve been able to assist community members who are struggling and help them keep their beloved pets healthy and at home.

Our mission is to make owning—and keeping—a dog truly attainable. Over the past few weeks, we’ve met so many wonderful people while distributing food. A common theme we hear is the need for affordable pet care. Many owners are trying their absolute best to care for their pets, but financial barriers make it difficult. As a result, many animals are not up to date on vaccines, are unspayed or unneutered, and far too many are going to bed hungry—alongside their owners.

With the donations we’ve received, we’ve been able to provide food for 65 dogs and 50 cats in just the last few weeks. Still, the need continues to grow, and we currently have hundreds more requests for assistance.

If you’re able to spare even a few dollars, please consider donating. Your support helps provide food, vaccines, spay/neuter services, and other essential supplies—allowing families to keep their pets at home instead of having to surrender them to a shelter or rescue.

💕 Mr Black & Ms Squirrel - Adoptable! 💕

Last year we rescued 9 beautiful pure bred GSDs from this home. They all lived in kennels in a hot, hot, hot backyard. The 9 pups are now beautiful, healthy and living the life they were meant to live! At that time the family wanted to keep Black & Squirrel - now they know it’s unfair to keep them.

Mr Black & Ms Squirrel are phenomenal together but they can be rehomed separately. Both dogs are 3.5 yrs, chipped and vaccinated. Both dogs love kids of all sizes and do well with people. Ms Squirrel would prefer a treat before she meets you. Both take treats gently. Both will need some leash work and we will help with their training. Both dogs are kennel trained but have never been in a home, we will help with indior manners.

Mr Black will need to be neutered and we will arrange it. He is disinterested in cats or other dogs. Ms Squirrel is spayed, we suggest no small dogs or cats.

They are currently ~50lbs but stress is keeping the weight off, they should be 65-70lbs.
