We are proud to announce that we officially have 100 active children in our chapter of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! This is an amazing accomplishment and one we could not have realized without the generosity of all of our donors and supporters. Thank you so much for helping us make reading accessible!

A Dream And A Pencil is pleased to have been selected to receive a $1500 donation from Cox
Charities. This gift is part of more than $600,000 in statewide donations given to local nonprofits this year, thanks to the generosity of Cox employees in Arizona. This donation is part of Cox Charities' larger initiative to change 34 million lives by 2034. Thank you so much !

A Dream And A Pencil is proud to announce another successful fundraiser for Seven Miles Elementary School! This year, we challenged ourselves to double our impact from last year, purchasing over $2,000 of school supplies and donating 900 books. I was very excited to meet with the principal, Ms. Misty Cook-Goseyun, who graciously helped us organize this in support of her school. We are looking forward to expanding our partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library by bringing the program to Seven Mile Elementary.

We are kicking off the academic year with a fundraiser for Seven Miles Elementary School on the Apache Reservation! If you’d like to donate, there is a box set up in the Starbucks located in Seville Shopping Center on Indian Bend and Scottsdale.
