Anyone that was/is planning on donating cookies or other items to be sent overseas to one of our local veterans please bring me your items tomorrow at the American Legion anytime after 3pm as we have to mail them out Saturday so he can receive them by Christmas.

Please be advised that there will be a Post 950 American Legion Wreaths Across America event held on Saturday, Dec 13 at 11a.m. at the Phoenicia Legion Post to begin the distribution of wreaths on Veterans gravesites at Shandaken cemeteries. The opening ceremony will be at Post 950 at 11 a.m,, after which we will proceed to the Allaben cemetery to place the wreaths at 12 noon. Participation will be greatly welcomed as we have many wreaths to place. Please pass the word to any individuals or groups who would like to participate. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Gift wrapping has been changed to tomorrow due to the weather yesterday. We don’t want to rush and forgot anything also don’t want you ladies waiting around. Tomorrow December 4th @ 5:00 we will be wrapping the gifts. Sorry for the late notice.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help and support our 1st wing night! It was another successful sold out event! We appreciate everyone’s patience yesterday while we figured out some hiccups! Can’t wait for the next event! The Son’s of the American legion will be having their pig roast on September 28! Hope you can all make it out.

Thank you so much to all the people that made last nights burger night such a huge success we couldn’t have done it without ALL of you!
