The Maine Alpaca Association is a diverse collection of alpaca enthusiasts coming together to promote a shared passion. From farmers to fiber artists to simply fans, this group encompasses all facets of the alpaca industry and offers something of value to all comers. A vibrant, up-to-date website with unparalleled educational offerings complements an active membership that meets regularly to share

resources and information. Dedicated focus groups are working to raise awareness of alpaca fiber at the state and local levels and disseminating the latest health information to Camelid owners and their veterinarians, and promoting Maine as an excellent location for alpaca farming.
