The Fred T Grotenhuis Veterans CC Project

09/15/2026

Thank you for coming out to celebrate with us Veterans and Families! We had a lovely afternoon in Harmony Township, NJ under the pavilion!

Great conversations, food and entertainment were enjoyed. Special thanks to Giulia Iannitelli Grotenhuis for putting it together along with Mary Walker-Golden and Wayne Golden who started The Fred T Grotenhuis Veterans CC Project in 2019.

We will continue to offer holistic wellness and community connections for Veterans in Warren County with our annual VETERAN'S DAY CELEBRATION. And have started talks about our next project - a meditation garden.

Grateful to all of our veterans for their dedication, courage and service that is always appreciated, yet seldom expressed.

Shout out to our local providers, including meals from Cafe 57, cookies from The Ash Farm and an Honor Song by Native American Performer, Delwin Fiddler, at La Paza Tree of Life. Thank you Maria Ragonese for organizing!

What did you enjoy most about Saturday's Event, the relaxation, conversations or hanging out with other local vets and old & new friends?
