After 4 weeks of phone calls to confirm road use authority, the DNR took the sign down. Hoffman Lake road is now open to ATV and UTV traffic all the way into Ashland County, but NOT Iron County. Standard 35 mph speed limits apply. NO off road use is permitted.

Trail scheduled close dates in Price County and surrounding areas (Subject to change per local, state or federal authorities:

Tuscobia Trail: November 14
Flambeau Trail (Nat'l Forest) March 14
Solberg Trail: March 14
Georgetown Trail: March 14
Flambeau River State Trail: November 15

Designated Roads (unless posted) are open year-round.

Solberg Lake Campground and connector ATV Trail are now open! Nice place to camp & ride, with lots of good food nearby...

The 101 trail is now open again between Cedar Rapids and Smith Rapids Rd. It was closed earlier this week for a culvert replacement on the east fork of Clover Creek.

Price County ATV/UTV Trail maps are in! Technology doesn't always work up north...that's a good reason to grab a new 2026 trail map. We will be distributing them in the coming days. Stop in to our participating trail sponsors to get one for only $2!
