Several members of the NFSC attended the High Peaks Motorized Summit at the Rangeley Snowmobile Club's new clubhouse this morning and would like to extend their gratitude to the club for hosting the event. Special thanks are also due to Brent West for moderating the summit and to our club President, Dana, for assisting with event organization. The event drew over 70 attendees. Appreciation is also expressed to State Officials, the MSA ,ATV Maine , and State ORV for their participation. Key topics were discussed, with a general consensus that clubs require increased funding to operate effectively. Attendees were treated to coffee and donuts upon arrival, followed by a hearty lunch after the meeting concluded. Sincere thanks to all who contributed to the success of this event.

As per the landowner's request, a snow fence section has been installed to block the trail on Reeds Mill Road. Furthermore, a kiosk has been set up on the trail at the intersection of Potato Hill Road and East Madrid Road. It is worth noting that the tracks seen were from snowmobiles and not side-by-sides; however, all trails remain closed.
