Since 1969, the Center for Social Policy and Community Development (CSPCD) serves as a bridge to the Greater Philadelphia community, with a particular focus on the neighborhoods surrounding Temple University. The Center provides opportunities for Temple University students, staff and faculty to exchange creative ideas, resources and services with residents, grassroots organizations, social service

agencies, and government entities to strengthen the health and welfare of individuals and communities particularly by addressing social and cultural determinants of health.
