Ordinarie Heroes We are dedicated to addressing educational and health disparities so young people, from historically marginalized communities, can thrive.

Ordinarie Heroes (OH) is a nonprofit organization working toward positive change in Philadelphia communities through community service, community empowerment, and mentoring. We are not only dedicated to providing support to individuals and communities but are also bringing back the fun and excitement in helping our neighbors. Our vision is to awaken people to the power within them to restore healthy families and cultivate strong communities.

Community Work Day! 🌱🥾

We’ll be planting seedlings that our farm interns have been nurturing over the past few months, as well as filling garden beds with soil and mulch in preparation for the growing season. It’s a great opportunity to get your hands in the soil, support the space, and connect with the work in a meaningful way.

📍: S.O.W. HOPE Farm, 4213 9th Street
⏰: 10:00am-1:30pm

Please bring your own water bottle (we will have water available on site).

This past weekend we were able to get our soil and wood chips in our new educational farm space..just in time for May! 🥳 We are super excited to get out here and get these seedlings into the ground! Stay tuned to see what will begin to grow first!
