Moms hold this city down. 🥊❤️

We celebrated the real MVPs at our Mother’s Day event — the women who drop their kids off at the gym, cheer the loudest at every bout, and keep our young contenders grounded when the world tries to knock them off their feet.

At ADI, we don’t just train fighters. We build family. And none of that happens without the moms in our corner.

To every mama in the Azzim Dukes family — we see you. We honor you. We got you. 💜

In the ring, there are no shortcuts.

You throw the jab a hundred times. Then a thousand. And one day — it’s different. Sharper. Faster. Yours.

That’s what boxing teaches our young people: progress isn’t loud. It doesn’t always announce itself. But it shows up for the ones who show up first.

Keep at it. Keep at it. Keep at it.

Because bit by bit, round by round — you become someone you didn’t know you could be. Inside the gym and out.

That’s not just boxing. That’s life. 💪🏽

Every Saturday, something special happens in Philadelphia.

Kids show up. They move. They laugh. They connect — with each other, with coaches, and with the best version of themselves.

That’s the Saturday Grind.

No screens. No spectators. Just young people of all ages coming together to build community, stay active, and discover what they’re capable of.

Because we believe every kid deserves a place where they belong — and something worth getting up for on a Saturday morning.

Live in ? Come see us - in two weeks we are starting bake sales!

Little hands. Big hearts. Limitless futures. 🥊✨

Our Mini Contenders aren’t just learning how to box — they’re learning how to show up. For themselves. For each other. For life.

Discipline. Focus. Courage. Joy.

Watch them work. Watch them glow.

This is what it looks like when kids get to be exactly who they are — and discover they’re stronger than they knew.

Help us meet the demand and host Round 3 this summer. Link in bio to donate!

Saturday Grind 🥊

Weekends aren’t for slowing down—they’re for showing up.
This is where habits are built, where discipline gets tested, where progress happens when nobody’s watching.

It’s not always flashy. It’s reps, sweat, focus, and choosing to be here when it would be easier not to.

That’s the grind. And that’s what makes the difference. 💯

We’re deeply honored to share that Azzim Dukes Initiative has been awarded a $20,000 Violence Prevention Microgrant from the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office as part of their latest round of community-focused funding. This award is part of a $375,000 investment in 45 local nonprofits working to address food and housing insecurity — two of the root conditions that deeply impact community safety and well-being.

This recognition is not just about the funding — it’s a validation of the work we do every day to uplift our community, strengthen families, and build pathways to stability and opportunity. We know that access to healthy food and secure housing are foundational to thriving lives, and we’re proud to be part of a broader ecosystem of organizations making tangible change.

We’re grateful for the trust placed in us and energized by the momentum this support brings. But this is just one step in a long journey. To continue expanding our impact, we need your support — whether through partnership, advocacy, volunteer engagement, or financial contributions.

👉 If you believe in empowering our community and addressing the root causes of violence with compassion and action, we invite you to join us. Let’s build safer, stronger neighborhoods — together.

Our Vice President of the Board Will Cooper accepted the award on our behalf.
