Everyday people must be heard.

There are real issues that are not being talked about because all voices are not made equal. We’ve dedicated ourselves to raising the status quo on grassroots efforts. The city is in dire need of courageous leadership, not democrats controlled by corporate interests and republicans driven by hate.

This city doesn’t just need to demand a flawed democracy to work but rather restore humanity, dignity, and equity for the atrocities of historical injustices that has been acknowledged by the United Nations — not by America.

We must also be willing to confront the truth that city and state government has done very little to invest back into redlined black communities that makes up the majority of Philadelphia yet have the highest concentrations of poverty, health disparities, and infrastructure neglect.

Black men need love too!

We live in a world that rejects our humanity when it fails to find ways to profit off our trauma, talents, and skills. Indeed we are strong, even when our burdens are heavy because we feel like society is waiting for us to stumble.

Therefore, we are covering ground across the city to reach and uplift the growing men that want better for our women, youth, elders, and our community.

We are stronger together.

At some point along the way, we lost ourselves. We forgot that we have always been the backbone and heartbeat that moves this country and our city forward. Now is the time for us to restore the hope that was stolen from us.

We can’t change our reality without removing the limitations that were placed on us by society.

What is Struggling Class? It’s about us making a moral decision to choose strength, humanity, and community over complacency.

We are no longer accepting second-class citizenship in a country, state, and city that has historically neglected our voices, exploited our labor, talent, and dollars, used us for votes, and marginalizes our communities for capital gains.

As the City of Philadelphia spends $620 million on the nation’s 250th Anniversary, we can’t help but to question the promises of economic opportunity when we are being overtaxed, underrepresented in spaces on every level, and stuck in dead-end jobs while the cost of living continues to increase and the threat of AI technology replacing working families advances.

We are living in unprecedented times where whitewashing history won’t bury the hard truth. What we are witnessing in our city and across the country can’t be avoided by denying the realities of everyday people.

Democracy demands the courage to take bold action in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. As the resilient people in the City of Philadelphia continue to advocate for change, we are prepared to take a stance.

One day — triple the blessings. This day brings me so much joy knowing that I get the honor to share yet another birthday with my amazing grandma. Every year, the greatest gift that I can receive on our birthday is living life with our matriarch.

Now I have the unique opportunity to bring Mother’s Day into this celebration of life. I can write a book on the woman that didn’t simply bring me into this world but established a strong foundation of love at home, poured into my life from the very beginning, and showed up during every high and every low.

This next chapter is my life is about doubling the return on their investment 💕💕💐🥱🤞🏽🌍

P.S. The City of Philadelphia should be deeply ashamed for sabotaging . Please make sure we stand behind who feeds the kids every day for free, hires people from the community, and goes above and beyond to make sure he uplifts others.
