The Philly NeuroArts Network is a newly established group expanding access to arts programming for individuals living with neurologic illness or injury. They believe the arts are a powerful pathway to connection, healing, and self-expression. By sharing resources, supporting inclusive programming, and hosting interactive gatherings, spaces are created where individuals, families, artists, clinicians, and therapists can inspire one another, build community, and celebrate the creativity that lives in all of us.
To launch the Philly NeuroArts Network they are hosting a NeuroArts Day. Join them for a day of arts workshops and discussion and meet representatives from local adaptive arts programs. Whether you are living with a neurologic illness or injury, caring for a loved one or working in healthcare and the arts there is a place for you!
The NeuroArts Day will offer experiences in song, visual arts, dance/movement and poetry, followed by lunch together and will conclude with a discussion. Participants will also have a chance to meet with representatives from local arts programs. Discover available resources, meet others with similar interests and experiences, and support community arts programs that offer creative and joyful opportunities.
