Introducing Theodora (Theo to her friends)!

ACCT Philly recently shared the shelter has taken in approximately 2,000 more cats this year to date compared to last year. They have run out of space to house the increase in surrendered cats and kittens. The shelter need the help of rescues (and adopters) to take in cats to empty kennels at the shelter.

As a foster-based rescue, we are dependent on foster families having space in their homes to help any animal. Luckily, one of our fosters saw the email for Theo (formally F***g) come through and offered to take her. It can feel small to help only one animal, but this was huge for our little Theo.

Theo suffered an unknown injury and lost her right hind leg. Unfortunately, due to her injury she was at risk of euthanasia at the shelter, as she needed care beyond their capabilities. Theo was scooped up yesterday thank you Kate and Sarah for tag-teaming her transport!!) and settled at yer foster home now. She’s on appropriate medication and quarantine in her foster home, as she grows and prepares for next steps.

Can we raise money for Theo’s upcoming medical care? She needs to finish her vaccines, be spayed, microchipped, and possibly have an amputation to remove the portion of her leg left. Along with the cost for her current medication and anything that can come up along the way.

Our cutest little Jasper and Jethro! The bonded brothers will be on Petfinder in the coming days but you can apply now to take them home 🩷

From their foster - “If anyone has every wanted a bonded pair with completely opposite personalities this their chance. Jethro is typical crazy kitten, zooms 24/7, always instigating our other cats and loves to play. Jasper is complete peace, and all he wants to do is sit quietly next to a human and stare at them. We call him jasper the ghost because he just floats around. Despite their differences they always find a way back to each other to snuggle and sleep.”

Introducing Peggy!! It was just a few days ago she was barely scrapping by outside on her own. Luckily, someone noticed her and realized she needed help. Peggy is now safe and warm inside, because her finder was also able to foster her! The rescue was only able to help Peggy due to this simple act of kindness.

Peggy is scheduled to be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped this week and will be up for adoption once she’s had time to decompress. Right now, she needs adult dry cat food (and maybe a few treat options to help her foster win her love). You can send dry food for Peggy via our Amazon or Chewy wishlists, linked in bio or drop off donations to our vet partner The Pet Mechanic Fishtown during open business hours. We are only able to accept unopened and in-date donations.

We’re extending our Halloween Raffle through the weekend….just in time for !!

Every year, Tulip’s Timestamps Rescue spends thousands of dollars providing essential preventive care for every cat who comes through our doors including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, and FeLV/FIV testing.

Right now, our medical supplies are running low, and we need your help to raise $1,000! This will help us continue providing every cat in our care with the preventive medical care they need before finding their forever home. Entering our raffle helps make this possible!
