The Balance of Life Initiative is an organization created by Amin & Khadijah Alderman. It is designed to enhance the lives of those who have lost their loved ones, by promoting and supporting social activities that foster brotherhood and sisterhood. The residual effects of this organization’s fund-raising will provide assistance to the community for grief counseling, pre-need counseling, wills and

also partial financial assistance for those who can’t afford the entire cost of a funeral service for their loved one. In addition we want to support efforts to stop the violence in our city and promote healthy youth activities.

On this blessed day, may Allah shower His blessings upon you and your family, filling your hearts with love and happiness. Eid Mubarak!

I am in Philadelphia with Muhammad Jawara , a Qari ( Quranic reciter) from London who spent the month of Ramadan with our community of Swcc Masjid Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jamaah reciting the night prayers . The entire Quran was recited in the 30 nights of Ramadan . May Allah accept our fast and worship and reward us in this life and the next . Let us remember all the brothers and sisters experiencing oppression and hardships of all kinds and pray Allah relieves them of their burdens as soon as possible.

I was blessed to record our brother Muhammad recite Juz Anna ( 30th part of the Quran ) the full recording will be released on all streaming platforms in the coming weeks all proceeds benefitting Swcc Masjid Ahlus-Sunnah Wal-Jamaah.
