CFAR is incredibly grateful to the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) for generously awarding a $25,000 grant to support the growth of our Children Deserving Services (CDS) program. CDS offers free therapy services to uninsurable youth who are typically from immigrant families struggling with a host of unique issues and barriers. CDS therapists are trained to work with youth in the context of the family, and they offer culturally appropriate bilingual services that are desperately needed in the communities they serve. As the need for CDS services grows, funding like this grant from IICF is so important.

CFAR’s Together Through Trauma program brings innovative mental health services to communities that need it the most, and we are looking for an Administrative Program Coordinator to support the program as it continues to grow. The role provides administrative support for the program, but also offers the opportunity to be creative and work with the community through events and workshop.
