This weekend for many is the start of summer, the start of creating new memories of good times with family and friends, fun at the beach, grilling all kinds of tasty treats, sharing a few drinks, and celebrating life. However, there are many brave Men and Women who will not have the opportunity to make these memories. While everyone is enjoying their weekend let us never forget that we are free and fortunate to have this time because of those who made the Ultimate Sacrifice for our freedom. This weekend, Memorial Day, is not about the start of summer, it is not about the beach and the barbeques. It is only about Honoring all the Men and Women who served and made the ultimate sacrifice. For Families, Friends, and Fellow Military Service Members. Memorial Day is a difficult time as they experience the inexplicable pain and grief for those who did not come home, for those who were left behind. Please hold in your hearts those who are experiencing this loss. Please Honor these Men and Women, and their Families.
Yes we should celebrate, we should respectfully celebrate their Lives and Honor their sacrifice.
